This apparatus lets you easily and accurately study Planck’s “quantum of energy” theory because the built-in features are specific to the ranges of this experiment. -- The unit includes a photocell, a built-in amplifier, the necessary voltage to apply to the photocell and a controlling potentiometer dial. Four light filters are included on a dial window to select the frequency of light that hits the photocell. -- Note: the following products are required for use with this apparatus but are not included: a mercury lamp, a voltmeter, and a microammeter with a 0-100uA (0-0.1 mA) scale. |
