This nickel coated plate uses a rubber pad to achieve air tight contact with a bell jar. -- It features a stopcock and center hole with safety screw plug and a rubber gasket. To create the vacuum, air is removed via a barbed hose connector that accommodates tubing of 6.4 mm (1/4”) ID, (we recommend our hand-made rubber tubing 62885-03 .) Measures 27 cm diameter with a 6 mm diameter center hole.
